Station wagons have a reputation for practical, reliable and roomy "family" cars. Federal Technical Supervision Association (TUV) engaged in periodic vehicle inspection published ranking of the worst station wagons of 2016. They had the most malfunctions over the past year. When compiling the rating, the inspection data of 8.5 million cars were taken into account.
Speaking about the shortcomings of the models that are on the list, TUV experts ask you to take into account that many drivers overestimate the capabilities of their "iron horses". And they are trying to squeeze the most out of them, overloading cars or operating them for a long time on bad roads, which does not improve the condition of station wagons.
10. Peugeot 307
The image of a five-seater Frenchman is spoiled by a quickly rusting exhaust system, frequent malfunctions with brake discs, steering in general and steering traction in particular are very often criticized by technical supervision.
9. Renault Megane
